Super easy to set up and I had to make a few modifications for my application. Great buy!

We had an old, solid core door that we hung on this hardware. We had to first attach a 2x6 board to the wall studs because using molly bolts to attach to sheetrock was just out of the question. Once we had a strong base, the hardware attached flawlessly and is definitely strong enough to hold this heavy door! We love the look...instantly updates the door and the room!

The instructions were well written. The material is of very high quality. Of course, I didn't always measure correctly, nor did I install it perfectly level. This resulted in the door opening very slowly all by itself.This was fixed by placing a small piece of duct tape on the rail just behind the inside pulley (wheel) so that when the door closed, the wheel rolled over the tape, and it was enough to keep it in place. Duct tape to the rescue . . . again.

This was just what we wanted!We built a 7ft tall barn door that was 45 inches wide and needed an 8ft kit to finish the project. We could not find one in-stock anywhere in town. We ordered this heavy duty 8ft kit and it was delivered in two days. We also ordered the suggested matching door pull and floor guide. The hardware was easy to install and strong enough to hold the door. We added a soft-close kit to keep the little ones from slamming the door. The wheels roll smooth and quiet.

The quality of this products is top notch! The wheels rolling on the rail is so smooth and locks in place once it reaches it full length of open and close. I definitely recommend this.

Rolls really smoothly. Installation was not too bad. Some of the instructions were not correct so make sure your measurements are correct.

This hardware took our barn door to a whole new level! So pretty and glides nice a smoothly. They look high end, but they’re totally budget friendly. It’s pretty easy to install if you know what you’re doing. I have nothing negative to say about the product. I think the photos speak for themselves 😊

Easy install and nothing like the Walmart cheap wood.

We are contractors and I buy these on repeat. I have several in my personal home. Easy install. They work perfectly. Have never had an issue. With the door or on-time shipments. Highly recommend.

My husband made a huge, solid wood barn door for my craft room. The door is made of reclaimed wood and is so heavy he was worried about me being able to open it. No problem! It glides open easily with this hardware. I love the look, too!

I use it in our bedroom. It was easy to install although the instruction manual is not very clear enough to a beginner like me. My problem is the door guide seems not appropriate enough. I was hoping for the type that has a roller in the side instead of this that you need to make a canal in the bottom of your door for it to run through.

Katherine Udstuen The problem with the wheels bouncing is you have the spacers behind the track backwards.. the fat ring goes to the wall side. Not the track side. Hope this message finds you. Or can help others

This is the second time I've installed this barn door hardware; yes, the wife loves barn doors. The instructions are short but straightforward. You'll need to do some light math, prep work, and some thinking about atud placement, but overall a pretty simple project. Measure 5 times, drill once...just to be sure.I saw a video of a person who gave this 1 star. After looking at the video again, its obvious that whoever installer her door put the spacers between the wall and rail on backwards. I recall briefly making that mistake on the first time. I hope someone figured that out for her; its a pretty easy and quick switch with a wrench.

We got this for a door for the bathroom. This is a great product!!! So sturdy and high quality! You will not be disappointed!

One of my “great idea projects” that was easier than expected to install. The hardware was all there and installation was fast. Study and easy to slide.

First - the good. The roller system is excellent. The door glides smoothly and silently. The hardware is sturdy ... although I wish it were powder coated rather than painted. The large wheels are attractive and make for an impressive finished look.Now - here is how it would improve the product. Firstly ... make the product more outdoor friendly . The bolts that attach the roller mechanism to the door are hex head ... and therefore easily detached so that thieves would have no problem detaching the rollers from the door. The same goes for the bolts that attach the rail to the structure. I bought carriage bolts to replace the hex head bolts to replace the hex head bolts attaching the rollers to the door. Some sort of cover needs to be created so that the rail bolts could be protected from thievery.There is no supplied method to insure the bottom of the door is secure when the door is in the closed position. A thief could simply pull out on the bottom of the door and enter. I attached two padlocks to the bottom of my door thereby making it secure when closed. It's not the most ideal location for a lock ... but it works.The directions instruct to drill a hole 2 inches down from the top of the door so that the roller mechanism can be attached. I had a lot of difficulty getting a 1/2 drill bit to track exactly where it should. If not precise, it creates lots of difficulty when attempting to hang the door. It would be extremely helpful if the slots that are in the roller hangars were elongated so that a little wiggle room was available.And lastly ... please improve the install directions. The print is meant to be read by an installer with 20/20 vision that doesn't need bifocals. And the directions seem to be written by the persons that designed the product and therefore knows what you're supposed to do. How about getting someone who has never installed the product and get them to help you write the directions AFTER they've attempted to install the product.I'm really trying to be helpful. I genuinely want you to improve the product.
