We had an old, solid core door that we hung on this hardware. We had to first attach a 2x6 board to the wall studs because using molly bolts to attach to sheetrock was just out of the question. Once we had a strong base, the hardware attached flawlessly and is definitely strong enough to hold this heavy door! We love the look...instantly updates the door and the room!

The instructions were well written. The material is of very high quality. Of course, I didn't always measure correctly, nor did I install it perfectly level. This resulted in the door opening very slowly all by itself.This was fixed by placing a small piece of duct tape on the rail just behind the inside pulley (wheel) so that when the door closed, the wheel rolled over the tape, and it was enough to keep it in place. Duct tape to the rescue . . . again.

This was just what we wanted!We built a 7ft tall barn door that was 45 inches wide and needed an 8ft kit to finish the project. We could not find one in-stock anywhere in town. We ordered this heavy duty 8ft kit and it was delivered in two days. We also ordered the suggested matching door pull and floor guide. The hardware was easy to install and strong enough to hold the door. We added a soft-close kit to keep the little ones from slamming the door. The wheels roll smooth and quiet.

This hardware took our barn door to a whole new level! So pretty and glides nice a smoothly. They look high end, but they’re totally budget friendly. It’s pretty easy to install if you know what you’re doing. I have nothing negative to say about the product. I think the photos speak for themselves 😊

My husband made a huge, solid wood barn door for my craft room. The door is made of reclaimed wood and is so heavy he was worried about me being able to open it. No problem! It glides open easily with this hardware. I love the look, too!

I use it in our bedroom. It was easy to install although the instruction manual is not very clear enough to a beginner like me. My problem is the door guide seems not appropriate enough. I was hoping for the type that has a roller in the side instead of this that you need to make a canal in the bottom of your door for it to run through.

This is the second time I've installed this barn door hardware; yes, the wife loves barn doors. The instructions are short but straightforward. You'll need to do some light math, prep work, and some thinking about atud placement, but overall a pretty simple project. Measure 5 times, drill once...just to be sure.I saw a video of a person who gave this 1 star. After looking at the video again, its obvious that whoever installer her door put the spacers between the wall and rail on backwards. I recall briefly making that mistake on the first time. I hope someone figured that out for her; its a pretty easy and quick switch with a wrench.
